Grumman F-14 the Tomcat during takeoff from aircraft carrier somewhere on Pacific Ocean. This photo taken from behind, there is wonderful thrust coming out of nozzles. The F-14 is supersonic jet fighter that has special ability to adjust its variable-sweep wing. The Tomcat first flew in 1970, developed for US Navy to be defense interceptor and tactical jet fighter, the F-14 then retired on 2006. Its role replaced by F-18 Hornet in current Navy's fleet. The F-14 known very well during Iran Iraq War in 1980. Hundreds of jet fighter shot down by Tomcat.
